Step 1 - Check If Your Cushion Covers Are Removable Or Upholstered

First things first, make sure you can access the foam insert in your cushions. Not all cushion covers have a zipper or a velcro enclosure that allow you to access the cushion’s inner foam insert. If this is the case, you may want to consider a new couch or calling a local upholster to help.

Step 4 - Choose a Batting Option For Your Cushion

The most common type of batting is Dacron polyester batting in a “book wrap,” wrapped around three sides of the foam (top, front, bottom) like the cover of a book (as seen in the image above).
